Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds

In certain cases an individual who is inadmissible to Canada or who does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations may make a written request for consideration of an exemption under humanitarian and compassionate considerations.

The request for an exemption must accompany an application for permanent residence in Canada. This is for deserving cases where the immigration process represents undeserved, disproportionate or undue hardship for circumstances that were not anticipated in the legislation.

Should you have an unusual, complicated case and require help to determine whether you may be eligible to submit an application under Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds contact Canada Connect Immigration Consulting Services for assistance.
